Pench National park is a well-known wildlife sanctuary, situated in the Madhya Pradesh state of India established in 1975. It has covered the area of 257 sq km. The Pench river flows from the northern to the southern side, divided the park equally into eastern to western halves, the forest area of Chhindwara and Seoni. In 1965 the Pench National Park changed into declared as a sanctuary. But in 1992 it was enlisted in the tiger reserve.
