This National Park located in both Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra states of India. 90% of the park located in Madhya Pradesh whereas 10% of the national park lies in Maharashtra. Pench National Park name is taken from Pench River that flows in the park from north direction towards south and Pench is nestled in Satpura hill of the Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh. Pench National Park is popular for the thriving of flora and fauna. This National Park was confirmed as a Pench tiger reserve in 1992 and as a Pench wildlife sanctuary in 1983.
