Incredible Pench National Park in India

Overview of Pench National Park Pench National Park or Pench Tiger Reserve is the first one of the premier tiger reserves of India and one of the premiers to straddle across two states- Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The placed is named after a Pench river flowing from north to south along the Pench national park, situated on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra. The government of Maharashtra declared it a national park in 1983 and was officially declared as the nineteenth tiger reserve of India in 1992. Where Pench National Park is located? Pench National Park is located in the districts of Seoni and Chindwara in the southern part of Madhya Pradesh. It acquires an enormous landscape of 758 sq km and has spread its reality in Maharashtra with an additional 257 sq km. The National Park is separated into two divisions, the core and the buffer area. The core zone comprises of 1. Priyadarshini National Park and 2. Mowgli Pench Sanctuary. It acquires 299 sq km.
